JCAM Language School – COVID-19 Protocol

The JCAM Board of Directors and the JCAM Language School recommend the following procedures to minimize COVID-19-related risks. The JCAM Board of Directors and the Language School reviewed the guidelines and recommendations created by the Government of Manitoba to create recommendations that would be suitable for JCAM.
JCAM’s recommendations may change depending on the situation and government recommendations. For instance, JCAM might make a decision to change the class delivery method to online classes at any point in time to ensure the safety of all parties.
Prior to arriving at JCAM
- Language School participants, including JCAM staff, students, volunteers, and guardians, should assess their health situation prior to arriving at JCAM. Please refer to the following link when making decisions. (https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/)
- Those whose self-assessment indicates that they should self-isolate should NOT come to the JCAM facilities.
- JCAM staff and/or designated volunteers will sanitize all equipment prior to classes, including desks, chairs, classroom door-knobs, and switches.
- JCAM admin staff will sanitize bathrooms daily.
Entering the Building
- Those who enter the JCAM facility are required to wear face masks in a manner that covers their mouth, nose and chin without gapping.
- Participants are strongly recommended to maintain social distance when entering the building.
- Those who arrive at the JCAM facility should wash or sanitize their hands upon arrival.
- All visitors to JCAM are required to provide their information upon arrival at the JCAM including their names, time of their stay, and health status. (The attendance of registered students is monitored by instructors.)
- JCAM will offer two entrances when it expects a larger number of people.
During Classes
- All participants should maintain adequate social distance.
- Those who enter the JCAM facility are required to wear face masks in a manner that covers their mouth, nose and chin without gapping.
- JCAM might conduct classes in large spaces such as the main hall if it became necessary to maintain social distance.
After Classes
- JCAM staff including the language school staff and/or designated volunteers will sanitize all equipment after classes are finished, including desks, chairs, classroom door-knobs, and switches.
JCAM would appreciate your cooperation in order to minimize COVID-related risks for everyone in the community.
JCAM日本語学校 – COVID-19 対応策

JCAM理事会とJCAM日本語学校では、COVID-19関連のリスクを最小限に抑えるため、下記の通り対応策を作成しました。 来館者に従っていただく点がありますのでご協力ください。マニトバ州政府発のガイドライン等を参考に、JCAMの状況に合わせて作成しました。
JCAMのCOVID-19対応策は、状況や政府の推奨事項によって変更する場合があります。関係者の安全を確保するため、状況に応じてオンラインクラスに変更すること等がありますのでご了承ください。
JCAM到着前
- JCAMのスタッフ、学生、ボランティア、保護者を含む日本語学学校関連者は、JCAMに到着する前に必ず自分の健康状態をチェックしてください。 具体的な判断基準は以下のウェブサイトを参照してください。(https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/)
- 上記ウェブサイトの結果、自己隔離する必要があるとなった場合は、JCAM施設には来館できません。
- JCAMスタッフまたは指定されたボランティアは、授業前に、机、椅子、教室のドアノブ、スイッチなどを消毒します。
- JCAMのアドミンスタッフ・ボランティアは、バスルームを毎日消毒します。
JCAM入館時
- JCAM施設入館者は、マスクなどのフェイスカバーを着用してください。口、鼻、あごが、ずれずにきちんとカバーされている状態で着用してください。
- 入館の際、ソーシャルディスタンスを維持してください。
- 来館者は、到着時に手を洗うか消毒してください。
- JCAMに来館する方は、到着時に名前、滞在時間、健康状態などを記載して頂きます。（申込している生徒に関しては、教師で出欠を確認します。）
- JCAMは、来館者が多い場合は、出入口を２つに分けます。
授業中
- すべての参加者は十分なソーシャルディスタンスを取ってください。
- すべての参加者は、マスクなどのフェイスカバーを着用してください。口、鼻、あごが、ずれずにきちんとカバーされている状態で着用してください。
- JCAMは、ソーシャルディスタンスを保つため、メインホール等スペースが確保できる場所で授業を行うことがあります。
授業後
- 授業終了後、JCAMスタッフまたは指定されたボランティアは、机、椅子、教室のドアノブ、スイッチ等の消毒を行います。
