YOSAKOI 2026
On Sunday, April 26th, with the support of the NAJC Building Capacity grant, JCAM hosted its first-ever Yosakoi workshop. Over 35 participants of all ages joined the three-hour workshop presented by Ms. Emiko Tanaka. Ms. Tanaka is the Founder & Director of Kochi Yosakoi Ambassador KIZUNA International Team based in Toronto. Yosakoi is a high-energy dance originating in Kochi-ken, Japan and combines traditional dance moves with modern music. JCAM is very fortunate to have Ms. Tanaka share her expertise with us.
