Join us at JCAM for an introduction to the exciting dance form YOSAKOI!
This high-energy dance originates in Kochi-ken, Japan and combines traditional dance moves with modern music. Yosakoi is for all ages and is known for bright costumes with choreography that uses the naruko (handheld wooden clappers). Yosakoi has spread around the world with over 200 Yosakoi festivals each year.

Tourism Ambassador.
Driven by a passion to share the spirit of Yosakoi with the world, Emiko actively promotes the dance’s core values — freedom, individuality, and collective energy — across international stages.
