LEARN THE ART OF MIZUHIKI

MIZUHIKI BEGINNER WORKSHOP

 WHAT IS MIZUHIKI?

MIZUHIKI is a traditional Japanese art form using stiffened, coloured paper cords to create decorative knots to be used on decorating gifts, earrings, hair clips/ties, key chains, cards, envelopes for special occasions, etc.
Mizuhiki is more than just a beautiful craft.  It also carries symbolic meaning of connection, honour and purity with each knot having its own meaning.

Participants will make a set of earrings and a motif for a greeting card during the session.
